Day 1
Transfer to your Hotel in the heart of the capital City Accra.
Brief orientations from the professional staff of Knowing Ghana Tour.
Enjoy a welcome dinner.
Day 2
Breakfast & Dinner Included:

Early morning pick-up at the hotel for a city tour of Accra, visiting the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, the National Museum, W.E.B. DuBois Centre for Pan Africanism, Independence Arch or Black Star Square and stop over La Beach for Lunch.

Visit the (Art Center); arts and crafts market the Arts Center. In this market you will find everything, from beads, bronze and wood carvings to textiles, pottery, jewelry and antiques.v Return to your hotel at the end of the day.

Day 3
Breakfast & Dinner Included:
Tour Shai Resource Reserve. View game such as antelope, baboons and eagles, and visit several caves located in the park which used to serve as the ancestral home for the people of Shai.
A stopover at Atimpoku and a possible visit to the Akosombo Dam, A rest at a river resort on the banks of the River Volta to have lunch and enjoy a one-hour cruise on the river

Continue to Ho, the capital of the Volta Region.

Day 4
Breakfast & Dinner Included:
Early morning pick-up for an adventurous to the top of Mt. Gemi in Amedzofe, the highest settlement in Ghana.

Interact with the natives of the land and know the history of the people and a visit to a local waterfall. A return to the hotel in the afternoon and have the evening free to relax and to prepare for the next day. Tourist can take that opportunity to explore the city and have fun.

Day 5
Breakfast & Dinner Included:
A drive to the base of Mt. Afadjato, the highest mountain in Ghana. The route takes you through tropical rain forest with a profusion of birds, butterflies and local plants and flowers. Descend to the cool waters of the Tagbo Falls and explore the surrounding environment.

Day 6
Breakfast & Dinner Included:
Depart from Ho to Kumasi.
Lunch (Note: On your own account).
Late arrival at the “Garden City,” Kumasi. Kumasi is Ghana’s second largest city and the capital of the Ashanti Region. A visit to the Manhyia Palace, the residence of the King of Ashanti, and the Palace Museum. Explore Central Market of the Garden City.
Early evening, check into your hotel.

Day 7
Breakfast and check-out:
Departure from Kumasi to the Northern Region of Ghana, a stopover at the Boabeng-Fiema Monkey Sanctuary, Ghana’s best known example of traditional African conservation and home to more than 250 Geoffrey’s Pied Colobus and about 600 Campbell Mona monkeys.

Late arrival and check in to a motel within the Mole National Park.
Evening game viewing safari in the largest wildlife park in Ghana. Mole National Park.

Day 8
Breakfast: Early morning game viewing at the Mole Park.
Check out and depart for the Ashanti Region with a stop at the Kintampo waterfalls, one of the most beautiful falls in Ghana, where Ghanaians and visitors alike go for picnics and to cool off on hot days.
Arrive in Kumasi late afternoon and relax rest of the day.
Explore the nightlife of the city of Kumasi.

Day 9
Early morning pick-up and head southwards to the Central Region. A stop over to visit the Kakum National Park and experience the Canopy Walkway. Experience serene atmosphere and take a walk through one of the last remaining vestiges of old growth rain forest in Ghana.
Continue to visit Cape Coast Castle and the West African Historical Museum. One of the more sordid moments in Ghana’s past was the role the country played in the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. This fort and others were used as prisons for slaves who were sent to plantations in the New World.
Day 10
Breakfast and check-out
Spend the morning relaxing at the beach. Relaxing at the sandy beach of Cape Cost

Depart for Accra, driving along the Atlantic coast with its many fishing villages and coconut lined beaches.
Arrive in Accra and proceed to a hotel where you will experience a farewell dinner outside the hotel.
